According to the Article 10 of the Law of Ukraine on Copyright and Related rights this work is in the public domain within Ukraine and possibly in other jurisdictions because it is one of the following: (e) coins and banknotes; --Andrew J.Kurbiko (talk) 13:11, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
While the coin itself may be in the Public Domain, that doesn't mean the picture is. A picture of a 3-dimensional object involves two copyrights: the copyright of the object and the copyright of the picture. Jcb (talk) 15:51, 20 October 2016 (UTC)[reply]
