File:Map of Russia - Time Zones (October 2014).svg[edit]
Map is falsified. Militarily occupied areas are marked as parts of occupying country. 93.106.29.228 14:47, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
- Keep and block the user 93.106.29.228 from Finland. Ha! "Map is falsified". Map is real, because the usage of UTC+3 by Crimea is proved by federal Russian law. It's also mentioned in English-language sources. And now you can try to prove your words (especially the phrase "Militarily occupied areas"). --Brateevsky {talk} 15:20, 14 February 2015 (UTC)
- Keep a map of the laws of Russia--PlatonPskov (talk) 15:32, 14 February 2015 (UTC)

- Keep, but probably it's worth to consider renaming that file to something like File:Map of Russia - Time Zones (October 2014, de facto).svg or File:Map of Russia - Time Zones (October 2014, Crimea included).svg. Per Commons:Disputed territories, "Both versions of any map can be uploaded as separate files, clearly labelled with their POV, and linking one another as Other Versions. Whichever map was first at a certain filename gets to stay there. The Wikipedias can decide which version is appropriate to use in which educational context. Legitimate improvements that are independent of POV can be made with complete consensus, but if anyone objects, they should be reverted and sent to a new filename.". One can add a separate version without Crimea (but that would be OR) or hatch Crimea as disputed territory. --Seryo93 (talk) 19:35, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
- Keep This map refers to time in Russia by Russian laws, and by Russian law Crimea and Sevastopol are federal subjects of Russia, so the Russian time applies to them too. Commons doesn't delete files for your stated reason. --Leftcry (talk) 21:36, 15 February 2015 (UTC)
