Files in Category:Media missing infobox template[edit]

Unfortunately, it doesn't say where the photographs come from. Unless we obtain permission from the photographer(s), we can't host the pictures on Commons.

Keep You are talking about ~700.000 files, mostly from the first few years of commons before {{Information}} was written in May 2005 or become widely used. We should not be deleting files which were within our policies at the time of the upload. --Jarekt (talk) 15:33, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
What are you talking about? The list above only contains four files, not 700,000 files. Also, as far as I can tell, we have always required identification of and permission from coin photographers, per COM:ART#Photograph of an old coin found on the Internet. --Stefan4 (talk) 15:37, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
There are more files in Category:Media missing infobox template category than just those 4. There should be about 700k and I am not sure why those 4 were single out. So the above comment is for "Files in Category:Media missing infobox template" as suggested by the title. About this 4 specific files: I see it possible that this was work of the uploader's as claimed by File:1-hrywnia-coin-2004-liberation from fascist invaders.jpg although uncertain. COM:ART#Photograph of an old coin found on the Internet was written in 2007 a year after upload of those files, but in this case I do not think the dates matter. I am OK with deleting them if we can not confirm with the original uploaders that they took the photographs.  Delete --Jarekt (talk) 17:27, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
When a deletion request is titled "Files in Category:..." then the deletion request usually only refers to the listed files, in this case four files. --Stefan4 (talk) 17:40, 2 December 2014 (UTC)[reply]
